I found out via FB that the Ligenfelter private car collection will be opened one day a year to the public, and that day was last Saturday. Naturally I convinced a co-worker to join me and we went out to visit this awesome collection. It was the first time that I had seen many of these cars in person.

How do you think I felt? lol! Never seen an Enzo, Laferrari, or a Veyron before. They look pretty awesome up close. :). Will have to go next year as well, lol.

That Vector M12 is a striking car.
Also, dumb question. What is this car? I can’t place it for some reason but I love it.
The two tone car, I know what a regal is

ikr? its freaking beautiful. wasn’t aware the old regal was offered in that body style.

Didn’t talk to him, wasn’t sure if i’d recognize him if i saw him, lol. There were a lot of great cars there.

Looks like a modified Fiero. Maybe a V8 swap?

When I told my daughter about me seeing one of the fastest cars on the planet, she said “we have to get it daddy!” I paused and replied “huney, the tires are worth more than my car.”

Thanks for sharing the pictures! Wish I could’ve been there.
I couldn’t recognize a couple of the cars there lol

Yes to both. The Vector had weird sides, the doors were concaved.

It’s a Falcon F7, made in Fenton, Michigan. This is the second time I’ve seen one. The first time the company owner drove it to a cars and coffee.

There were a few cars I couldn’t figure out, though I recognized them from somewhere. Will have to make a second post to figure it out. That specific one in the pic above didn’t state what it was, so it’s one of the
mystery cars.

Oh wait it’s that Pontiac that someone posted about the other day isn’t it. The super car killer prototype that they ended up cancelling?

Yep just remembered. It’s the Pontiac Tojan . Jalopnik did a write up in it a couple weeks ago.

Cool, never even heard of it. The design is striking.
Quite impressive specs, have they failed or are they still kicking. The website seems to stop around 2017.

I’ve had the opportunity to walk through there with Ken Lingenfelter when no one else was around. Such a nice guy, and really cool to hear the stories behind some of the cars in the collection.

That must of been nice! It was less than an hour drive for me, and would be cool to see the other cars in his collection. He’s suppose to have a Ferrari
FF, which I’d love to see in person sometime. Unfortunately it was there when I visited.

Not sure if they are still around or not. They mostly are under-the-radar.

Dang, will have to tell my friend. Thanks!

It

I need the backstory on that GN wagon. Probably something John cooked up for shits and giggles.

wikipedia says the wagon body is stock from the factory. surprised me.

Oh man yeah it was. My dealer does a lot of business with Ken, anytime I’ve had the opportunity to talk to him he’s always been the nicest guy. Wanted to make it out to the open house but the lady had different plans for our Saturday.

A little googling tells me it's an '83 Regal wagon with a GN front clip and a 454. Still awesome, but it's really crying out for a turbo 3.8.

i’m easily planning on going next year.
